My name is Lisa Morrone.  As a Physical Therapist, I have treated patients in the field of Orthopedic, manual (hands-on) Physical Therapy for nearly two decades. In addition, I am a professional speaker and have been an Adjunct Professor of Physical Therapy at Touro College, Bay Shore, NY, since 1990. My area of specialty within Physical Therapy has always been the spine and pelvis. Recently I have added another “hat” to my professional collection, that of Author. My first two books, Overcoming Back and Neck Pain and Overcoming Headaches and Migraines were released in 2008.  My third book Overcoming Overeating is due to be released in January 2010. 

This website is designed to offer you informative materials, quick tips and helpful products, each designed to aid in your healing from chronic physical pain. It is my hope that by sharing my knowledge base with you, you will be able to get out of pain and stay out of pain.

 Many times I have treated patients who have come to me as their last hope. They have seen numerous medical doctors and healthcare specialists. They have endured a slew of tests, much medication and still they’ve yet to find lasting relief.  All this changes when they begin my approach to treatment. My comprehensive treatment addresses posture, core stability, strength and flexibility, disc recovery, ergonomics and movement re-education. Skilled, manual (hands-on) treatment of joints and muscles is often helpful to speed recovery. Much to my patients’ surprise (not to mention that of their doctors’), they get better. And, best of all, they stay better!
